Coconut pancakes

According to the archaeological findings such as 30,000-year-old grinding tools its believe the origin of the pancake dates back to the stone age. Researchers reckon that early flat cakes were made mixing the flour out of cattails (reedmace) and ferns with water and then baking on a hot (possibly greased) rock. Today all around the world different kinds of pancake batters are used to make the flat cake either savoury or sweet. Sweet rolled pancakes a very common around Sri Lanka.
