In this key area we consider people who wouldn’t usually appear in the standard history textbooks, and how their obscurity affects our understanding of certain key moments in our recent past.
This key area compels us to explore familiar concepts such as food, language, music, clothing, sports and various historic influences that make up our shared Sri Lankan culture and identity with an open and inquiring mind.
